The Petroleum Alliance of Oklahoma, in conjunction with the Oklahoma Energy Education Foundation, is proud to announce the launch of its new scholarship program aimed at supporting the next generation of leaders in the energy industry and beyond. This initiative underscores the Alliance’s commitment to fostering talent and innovation within Oklahoma’s oil and natural gas industry and the state as a whole.

“We are thrilled to introduce The Petroleum Alliance of Oklahoma Scholarship Program as part of our ongoing efforts to invest in the future of Oklahoma,” Petroleum Alliance Chairman Chad McDougall said. “By providing financial assistance to talented students, we aim to cultivate a diverse pipeline of skilled professionals who will drive innovation and growth and shape the future of Oklahoma.”

The Petroleum Alliance of Oklahoma Scholarship Program will award scholarships of $2,500 to students who are either Petroleum Alliance members, an employee of a Petroleum Alliance member company, the child of a Petroleum Alliance member, or the child of an employee of a Petroleum Alliance member company.

Eligible candidates will demonstrate academic excellence and leadership potential. A minimum cumulative 3.0 grade point average in all completed classwork is required. Scholarship applications are not limited to energy-related disciplines and are open to all qualified students regardless of field of study.

Scholarship applications for 2024 are due April 1. Scholarships are limited, and submitting an application does not guarantee receipt of the award.
